individual therapy
Therapy for neurodivergent people by neurodivergent people.
Therapy outside of the boxes. Therapy made for you.
neurodivergent-affirming therapy
Navigating the world as a neurodivergent person can be challenging. You don’t have to go it alone.
There is no one size fits all type of therapy for ADHDers and Autistic people.
This is a space where therapy can look like what you want it to be.
That can look like:
Sharing about what matters to you, getting really into the details, and feel safe doing so knowing that I am holding the main thread while we explore the paths that stem from it.
Letting me guide the way with very specific prompts, thoughtful questions, and providing clarity when you need it in a world where things can often be very vague and unclear.
Very practical sessions where we focus on what you need support with and tackle it together, such as getting through that admin work you’ve been avoiding for years, or having moral support and guidance while looking for jobs as a neurodivergent person.
What I offer support with:
Autistic burnout recovery and prevention
Self-accommodations for Autism and ADHD
Executive functioning & Autistic inertia
PDA (Persistent Drive for Autonomy)
Psychoeducation on ADHD and Autism
Identity, self-esteem, and self-advocacy
Your special interests and passions
Relationships (friends, family, partners, anyone that matters to you..)
Gender identity, sexuality, relationship preferences
Grief and loss
Processing trauma
Support with building healthy routines around sleep, nutrition, movement, etc
And generally most things concerning you…
This is your therapy and you get to decide what matters.
Accessibility is part of my practice. This can include:
Pacing: feel free to take breaks, pause, take your time to think
Written info: transcripts for meetings, providing notes and written guides around what we discuss in therapy
Comfort: over telehealth, bring in things that make you comfortable, like snacks or drinks, weighted blankets, things to fidget with or doodle on. In person, I will provide some of these items in my office.
Need a break from being perceived? Ask to meet with camera-off for part of sessions.
Have other ideas of what would help? Ask away and I’m always happy to help. :)
